Ever the subject of rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was expected to be available September of this year. By now, this prediction has been proven false, on an obvious note.
However, it doesn't mean that the rumors will stop - just in are reports saying that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be pushed for a 2017 release. The gadget giant is allegedly preparing to release their highly-anticipated gizmo first quarter of 2017.
GSM Arena reports that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be available in two options: the SM-TB825 and SM-TB820. Unfortunately, the proof of availability, pricing, and specs are hard to come by. The only plausible conclusion to date is that the S3 is more defined and high-powered compared to its Android tablet sisters.
In addition, a picture of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was leaked, courtesy of Tech Radar. From the looks of it, the S3 shares the same blueprint with the Galaxy Tab S2. It has the same display ratio - 4:3 - and at the bottom of the front screen is the home button. The S3 is supposed to come with a plastic back, a feature Samsung tabs and smartphones are known for.
Looking back at Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's early rumors, there have been suggestions that the tablet will encapsulate a 3 GB RAM and will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. One variant will have a 5,870mAH battery and the other will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The front camera is equipped with 2MP and the back, an 8MP.
With Samsung's USB-C design already glued to the Galaxy S7 smartphone, it is safe to assume that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have one as well. Tab S3 will run via Marshmallow, although some reports suggest that Nougat will be used.
Noteworthy of mentioning is the fact the Galaxy Tab S models are beloved by Android users worldwide. With the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the Korean company will have another impressive addition to their CV.
