‘Street Fighter 5’ Latest News & Update: Free DLC Arriving Very Soon; Change in Gameplay & Game Features Expected! More Upgrades Coming?

Players of "Street Fighter 5" were not happy when they found the game unfinished and lacking in good content. Since its launch in February on PC and PS4, the game developer Capcom could sell only 1.4 million copies. Thus, it is clear that the sales were hit badly right from the start and hence the developer could be releasing "Street Fighter 5" DLC for free.

The game has not garnered much positive reviews and the developers have been plagued by the issue of low sales since its launch. Now Capcom is hell-bent in turning the table in its favor to get a taste of success. Makers of "Street Fighter 5" could release a DLC soon. Moreover, inclusion of new characters may also appease fans.

In fact, Capcom did add new characters such as Juri, Alex and Ibuki in past updates but these updates too ran into trouble due to malware that resulted in security issues. Capcom should seriously think of expanding the availability of "Street Fighter 5" on other platforms. Players have faced issues with the gameplay for the latest franchise release though.

"Street Fighter 5" players even complained about the lack of single-player campaign or story mode. To add more pain to the wounds, Capcom Pro Tour DLC players were charged $10 for every match. Fans also became frustrated due to lack of regular communication with the company.

Die-hard "Street Fighter 5" fans are simply hoping that Capcom would soon come up with a fresh update to win back at least some of its lost players. However, in a recent interview with Esuteru, Capcom CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto, said that "Street Fighter 5" has the ability to thrive and "will remain popular for a long time," reports PVP Live.

Capcom should look at providing fans more value, create practical initiatives and address community's biggest concerns such as inconsistent netcode, input latency among others. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Street Fighter 5" latest news and updates!
