'Peaky Blinders' Season 4 Release Date, Cast Details and News: How Will Tommy Shelby Recover His Family's Trust?

Criminal gang leader Tommy Shelby will be back next year for "Peaky Blinders" Season 4. The lead character, played by Cillian Murphy, will be more terrifying next season.

Shelby's cliffhanger for Season 3 left fans with a lot of questions in mind especially with the betrayal that he did to his family. The main character is desperate to make things right this time.

'Godless' character

In an interview, Murphy noted that Shelby will continue to be the gangster leader that he is in the show. "Godless. Unafraid to die. Deep down, maybe wishing to die. Which makes him terrifying, you know?" he said as he described his character.

The actor also explained that playing Shelby uses up a lot of his energy because of the character's "relentless" attitude. He added that his character does not seem to know when to rest which affects him also.

Show's success

"Peaky Blinders" has become an instant success on television attributed mainly to its unique storyline. Viewers of the show are expecting that this will be continued for Season 6.

Filming and air date

Murphy said they will begin shooting "Peaky Blinders" Season 6 in March 2007. The show is expected to air by around October next year. For the previous season, it took the production team four months to film the show then three months to edit.

The actor also earlier revealed that there is much to see when "Peaky Blinders" Season 6 airs next year. He noted that Shelby has a lot of things to prove to his family and prove to them that he has come up with a bigger plan.

Winning back the trust of family members is included in the priority things that Shelby will do for "Peaky Blinders" Season 6. He also noted that Tommy will continue to look for opportunities to achieve more things in life.
