The hit game "GTA: Vice City" became extremely popular when it was launched for PlayStation 2 owners 14 years ago. Now, a remastered edition has recently been released on YouTube and relived the glorious days of the game.
In a 6-minute fan-made video dubbed the Definitive Edition, an improved opening scene of "GTA: Vice City" was shown to fans of the game. Many were awed with the HD version of the introductory scenes and made them appreciate more the game that became a hit more than two decades ago.
Raking more views
Uploaded last November 3, the video has already garnered more than 500,000 views as of Monday with many commending how the editing was greatly done. User "ElPatron036 The GoAnimator" even asked the creators of the video to do the same to other GTA titles.
"Can you do this too with GTA 3, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA Vice City Stories?" the user noted. Another YouTube viewer added that the graphics of the video were "fantastic."
Maintaining original parts
Despite changing some standards on the presentation of "GTA: Vice City," the remastered video still retained the original qualities of the game which was released in 2009. One of the notable scenes maintained was the use of the VHS on the footage.
This is reportedly not the first time that the game had a makeover. In 2015, a gamer made good use of a "GTA: Vice City" mod to bring it again to life using the "GTA 5" as their testing ground. Fans must have really loved the game that they keep creating new content using materials from the previous title.

Rockstar introduced "GTA: Vice City" on Oct. 27, 2002 and was became one of the best-selling titles of the franchise. It presents a world full of violence, drugs and betrayal that made the game more exciting for GTA fans.
