‘Injustice 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Delay Confirmed by Current Actors Strike; ‘Mortal Kombat X’ DLC Delayed Due to Game Sequel

"Injustice 2" is one of the favorite subjects of numerous reports and speculations all over the Internet ever since the released of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" in 2013. The sequel is already set to arrive in 2017; however, the recent strike amongst cast members or voice actors could possible cause some delay in its release. Despite the recent report, some positive news have surfaced regarding "Injustice 2" as the game developer NetherRealm Studios is said to roll out an iOS and Android versions of the game for mobile gamers.

According to the latest reports, the current voice actors strike is affecting the production of the "Injustice 2" release timeline. Although the game developer is trying their best to make sure the release of the highly anticipated sequel goes smoothly, the possibility of a major delay is just right around the corner. According to the report, the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists have decided to go on strike following the organization's demand of changes in its contract.

Nonetheless, NetherRealm Studios has yet to make an official statement with regard to the current issue and the release of "Injustice 2" is still speculated to happen in March 2017. Although the game developer and publisher Warner Bros have continued to stay silence with regard to the development of the sequel, several rumors have emerged suggesting that a PC version of "Injustice 2" could come out along with the console versions next year.

"Injustice 2" Android and iOS Versions

According to a report by IGN, the creator of "Mortal Kombat" Ed Boon has revealed that NetherRealm Studios will develop an iOS and Android versions of the much-awaited "Injustice 2." The decision apparently came after a Twitter poll created by Boon asking fans if they want a mobile version of the sequel.
