‘Heroes of the Storm’ News & Update: Blizzard Unveils Varian Wrynn, Ragnaros As Newest Heroes! Are You Ready For A Nexus Challenge?
Blizzard, the developer of "Heroes of the Storm," has announced its newest heroes, Varian Wrynn and Ragnaros in the recent BlizzCon 2016 event. Gamers couldn't believe their eyes about the known heroes coming to the game.
The 10th BlizzCon event has surprised many players of what's coming next to Blizzard's games. The heroes Varian Wrynn and Ragnaros to enter "Heroes of the Storm" were the last thing that gamers expected from Blizzard's announcement. Players thought of two new maps that will be included in the game but they haven't heard of it.
According to IGN, the production director of "Heroes of the Storm" revealed onstage at the BlizzCon 2016 opening ceremony the inclusion of the "World of Warcraft" characters in the game. Varian Wrynn will be the first multi-class hero that will be available in the game and players get to choose if Varian will be a tank-like warrior or a deadly assassin. Gamers can also pick Ragnaros and become a raid boss that other players need to defeat.
Blizzard also announced at the event that it will be giving away five free heroes by joining the Nexus challenge. From the details posted on their website, players should team up and play at least 15 "Heroes of the Storm" in Co-op vs. AI, Quick Match, Unranked Draft, or Ranked modes starting November 15 up to January 4.
Moreover, completing 15 "Heroes of the Storm" games with a group of friends, players will get in-game rewards such as Oni Genji Skin, Oni Genji Portrait, Oni Genji Spray for "Overwatch." Also, players can get Zarya, Oni Genji Portrait for "Heroes of the Storm" as a reward. Players, too, can have Auriel, Greymane, Kerrigan, Li-Ming, Orochi Hovercycle Mount, 30 Day Stimpack as a reward after completing 30 "Heroes of the Storm" games.
Meanwhile, Blackheart's Revenge has also been added as the newest brawl in "Heroes of the Storm," which will launch on November 15. Varian Wrynn will be added starting next week under a test stage and will officially debut on November 15, while Ragnaros will be included in the game this December.
