iPad Pro 2 Release Date, News & Update: 2018 Launch Speculated Due to iPhone 8 Release in 2017? Impressive Specs & Features!

There are reports that the Apple iPad Pro 2 release date has been shifted to 2018 despite the device being in high demand. Apple is not likely to release the device soon as it is concentrating solely on the Apple iPhone 8 for 2017.

It has already been a year since Apple released the iPad Pro and fans were widely speculating the specs and the features that the new iPad Pro 2 would boast of. Fans got all the more reason to rejoice when noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that Apple is planning to release three new iPads in 2017.

However, going by the rumors, it seems that the release date will be shifted to 2018. Those who are not aware of the rumored specs and features of the iPad Pro 2, the device is expected to be out in three variants, 12.9-inch, 10.5-inch and 9.7-inch. Some reports have also claimed that Apple will do away with the 12.9-inch version.

Nothing is confirmed as yet as Apple has not spoken on the device. Apart from the three variants, the Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to run on the A10X processor that will provide better performance than its predecessor. However, it is also possible that Apple may go with the A9X chipset at least for one of its variants.

It is also expected that Apple may tap into the potential of an AMOLED Display for the iPad Pro 2, reported MacRumors in August. The device is also expected to sport a True Tone Display and dust/water resistant. Fans will be greatly surprised if the Cupertino tech giant introduces a 4K video recording feature via its 12MP primary and 5MP secondary cameras.

Apple may also choose to stun its fan base with a 5K display and screen resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels. Stay tuned on GameNGuide for more updates on the Apple iPad Pro 2.
