'Vikings' Season 5 Predictions: Ragnar Lothbrok Enters Valhalla With Aslaug?
Fans who have seen the "Vikings" Season 4 midseason finale are well aware that Aslaug is currently the ruler of Kattegat, but will her reign get cut short in the second half of the season? Some believe that the Queen will meet her end before "Vikings" Season 5 due to her own personal conflict with Ragnar Lothbrok's ex-wife Lagertha.
The two women are already expected to fight it out after "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11. Unfortunately, it looks like Aslaug will not win this battle, since Katheryn Winnick has been busy filming as Lagertha for "Vikings" Season 5. It might mean death for Aslaug, but Ragnar Lothbrok's brother could end up becoming less visible in "Vikings" Season 5.
Clive Standen's Rollo Set To Become Guest Star In 'Vikings' Season 5?
Rollo might be a long way from Kattegat, but his storyline in Normandy is still a huge part in the first half of "Vikings" Season 4. However, things could change after the possible death of Ragnar Lothbrok. Clive Standen could only appear as a guest star in a few episodes in "Vikings" Season 5.
Although Clive Standen is currently part of the main cast, some believe that Rollo will appear less in "Vikings" Season 5 as the actor begins work on the "Taken" TV series based on the Lian Neeson films. Standen has already started working on the show, where he will play Neeson's character Bryan Mills (via Entertainment Weekly).
The second half of "Vikings" Season 4 will premiere on November 30. "Vikings" Season 5 is expected to air on History in summer 2017.
