Tom Clancy's "The Division" Survival expansion is supposed to be released several months ago. But, the game encountered some game issues and fixed it first. "The Division" Survival expansion was released recently but for some PC players only.
According to a report from Kotaku, the new Survival DLC will turn Tom Clancy's "The Division" into an epic and very exciting multiplayer game. The Survival expansion is an optional mode for the players. Players can choose if they want to play an extra mission with distinct gameplay systems and a roughly two-hour limit before the player's character will die.
Tom Clancy's "The Division" Survival expansion will be located on the same map of the main game but only with different scenarios. The players will set in a blizzard that is bearing down the whole New York City. There will be a group of Division agents will need to make it to the center of Manhattan to retrieve some key antiviral drugs.
The aircraft that every agents are on will eventually crash. The crash will scatter all the players around the map and each player will be having its own starting spot. What makes Tom Clancy's "The Division" Survival expansion exciting is that every player will be stripped of their gear and it is up to them to make it to the center before their character dies. Every player need to fight effectively and consume their resources orderly to survive in the new Survival mode. The players will also have to keep their selves warm because of the harsh cold weather will also affect them
According to a report from Polygon, a player will die in Survival mode if he fails to stay warm before making it to the Dark Zone area of the map. Other teammates can revive them but the stakes are still higher than the typical Tom Clancy's "The Division" normal play session, revival or not.
