MacBook Air 2017 has recently become a hot topic amongst tech observers and several indications have emerged that the device will likely to arrive in March 2017. According to reports, the highly anticipated laptop will surprise tech freaks as it is rumored to carry impressive specs and features.
Nonetheless, the rumor about Apple's plan to discontinue the MacBook Air series is still rife and many fans are taking all the speculations with a grain of salt. The Cupertino based company has yet to confirm whether they have already cancelled the MacBook Air line or not, which has given fans some confidence that the company will indeed release a new MacBook Air 2017 early next year.

According to several reports, the new MacBook Air 2017 will come out as the thinnest laptop ever manufactured. It is expected to be lightweight but packs advanced specs under the hood including Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor. The chipset maker has already announced that it will roll out its next generation core processor by the end of the year, which is perfect for the planned early next year release of MacBook Air 2017.
The new laptop is also expected to arrive with a much different design compared to the recently announced MacBook Pro 2016. MacBook Air 2017 will also carry USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 and packs a much larger battery power for extended usage.
Meanwhile, the new MacBook Air 2017 is speculated to arrive in three variations, which will differ in size. The smallest variant is rumored to be at 11 inches followed by a 13-inch laptop, while the high-end variant will have a 15-inch screen size.
Apparently, Tim Cook, Apple CEO, hinted that he likes the Mac line and revealed its commitment to develop more of it. Cook's statement was his response to an email sent to him by a consumer who simply asked for the future of the Mac series.
