The OnePlus 3T has been in the rumor mill for weeks, but now the Chinese phone manufacturer has put those rumors to rest after confirming that it will officially unveil the follow-up to OnePlus 3. A week from now, OnePlus fans will finally launch the improved version of the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus took to Twitter to announce that OnePlus 3T will launch on Nov. 15. In addition, the company also confirmed that the device will feature a Snapdragon 821 chipset. The tech company made the announcement a day after Qualcomm confirmed that the processor will be part of the next release from OnePlus.

Although OnePlus already hinted about its next smartphone release, it remains unclear if it will officially be called OnePlus 3T. Besides the processor and launch date, details on the complete specs and features of the phone remain under wraps. Rumors, however, suggest that the smartphone will have a more powerful and bigger battery at 3,300 mAh. It will reportedly come a 6 GB of RAM paired with 128 GB storage, and a pre-installed Android Nougat.

OnePlus 3T is also rumored to have an enhanced camera, with Sony IMX395 sensor on board to capture photos of excellent quality. As previously reported, the device is expected to look similar to its predecessor but will have a bumped up specs under the hood. The OnePlus 3T is also rumored to be iPhone 7's new rival.

A week from now, more details about the OnePlus 3T will be revealed, but according to various reports, the device is likely to go officially on sale in December. If rumors prove to be true, the new device from OnePlus should be a great holiday offering. It is expected that the smartphone will be priced higher by around $80, Android Authority reported.
