‘World of Warcraft’ Latest News & Updates: Legion Players Will Be Able To Venture Into Demon Planet Argus In Release Of Patch 7.3
With the advent release of Burning Isles, "World of Warcraft" players thought it was going to be the main battleground of the fight against the Burning Legion. However, with the recent developments during this year's Blizzcon, fans can expect more locations, challenges, and treats as they rally together to save the world.
According to Polygon, Blizzard explained what players can expect from the two upcoming updates to the "World of Warcraft." Patches 7.1.5 and 7.2 will be a normal update routine, fixing bugs and making minor changes for the overall benefit of the game. However, during the panel, Blizzard hinted at an even bigger update in the future in the name of Patch 7.3. Ion Hazzikostas, the game's director, confirmed that players will be able to journey into a new demon world called Argus.
Hazzikostas then went to confirm that Argus will not be a standalone expansion or a paid DLC, but will come bundled with Patch 7.3 when it eventually rolls out. For "World of Warcraft" players who are not familiar with Argus, the demon planet is one among the vast universe of the game's lore. Argus is one of the major points of power in the dark kingdom of the Burning Legion. Argus is the former home of the Dranei race, a faction of life that fled when the demonic Legion invaded and corrupted the planet.
As per PC Gamer, Hazzikostas explained that taking the fight to the Burning Legion's territory is one of the key developments in saving the world of Azeroth. "Where else could we go in our search for the end of the Legion?" the "World of Warcraft game director stated. "If we want to truly win peace for Azeroth, we're going to need to look beyond the land around us, beyond the Broken Isles, beyond Azeroth itself to the skies. We're going to need to go to Argus."
