Xbox E3 Sweepstakes Hints At Turn 10, EA Reveals

The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will take place from June 11-13 in Los Angeles, but news and rumors surrounding the upcoming event have already provided plenty of jaw-dropping and excitement-inducing reactions from fans.

Microsoft is expected to unveil its next generation console later this month, for a further review during E3, but it looks like other announcements might be in the pipeline as well. The company is currently throwing a Twitter sweepstakes, offering some very lucky gamers the chance to win tickets to the company's E3 Xbox Media Briefing on June 10.

For a chance to win, entrants must head to Twitter and tweet specific hashtags and usernames to receive entries into the contest. While the contest has been updated to only include the accounts @Xbox and @PlayXBLA as qualifying accounts, NeoGAF users discovered that this wasn't always the case. Previously, the contest would also allow players to tweet to Turn10 and Electronic Arts (EA) as well.

Given that the Xbox E3 Media Briefing is all about big reveals, it doesn't take much to assume that the inclusion of Forza Motorsport developer Turn 10, and Madden (etc.) creator EA means that both companies will be showing off something (or perhaps more than one thing) during the big event.

Could this Turn 10 announcement be a complete reveal of Forza Motorsport 5? Could the EA announcement be the rumored reveal of Dragon Age 3 or a new title in the Mass Effect series? Or, could such a grand stage be the perfect moment for BioWare to show off its rumored original new IP? It's worth pointing out that EA holds its own press conference on the Monday before E3 as well, so any involvement with an Xbox specific conference likely means that it's something big.

We've learned from previous media events that anything is possible (from celebrity appearances to concerts and lots in between), and we expect to learn much more in the weeks heading up to E3 2013 as well.

If you're simply interested in entering Microsoft's Twitter contest, you can read the complete rules and requirements on the official Xbox Facebook fan page.
