‘Persona 5’ Release Date, News & Update: Morgana, Newest Member Of Phantom Thieves Introduced; ‘First Squad’ Cassandra Morris Plays As Talking Cat
The latest member to be added in "Persona 5" Phantom Thieves is Morgana, a JRPG mascot which is also a playable party member. The black and white cat sporting a yellow collar is voiced by "First Squad" Cassandra Morris.
"Persona 5" Morgana can also take the form of a cartoon cat and even as a bus that the team can ride around. According to a report by Siliconera, Zorro is Morgana's persona.
"Persona 5" is a larger part of the Megami Tensei franchise which takes place in Tokyo. The protagonist was transferred to Shujin High School after being on probation for assaulting a stalker. Together with his friends, the Phantom Thieves, they were awakened to their persona powers during the school year. All members of the "Persona 5" have lived dual lives, attending class by day and going on adventures with their powers after class.
In an interview with Cassandra Morris, she said that Morgana, the felonious feline mascot, does not want to be called a cat. She is an important member of the team because she is the irreplaceable heart and soul of the "Phantom Thieves." She is a professional thief and is a mentor to the disaffected youth. As gamers know, Phantom Thieves steal ill intents from the hearts of adults in "Persona 5."
Cassandra Morris, before voicing Morgana in "Persona 5," has appeared in many films for 4Kids Entertainment, Bang Zoom! Entertainment, duArt Film and Video, NYAV Post and Studiopolis. As a writer, she has done Prom and Formal Dances at About.com and David's Bridal.
"Persona 5" has already been launched in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, but for North America and Europe, the Atlus game will be available on Feb 17 next year. "Persona 5" has already introduced members Ann and Ryugi. Which among the Phantom Thieves is your favourite? Tell us what you think and stay tuned to GamenGuide for the latest news and update.
