‘The Sims 4’ Latest News & Update: Upcoming Thanksgiving Event To Feature New Triple Boost Week Challenge?

Game developers may have prepared a special Thanksgiving event for Electronic Arts' life simulation game "The Sims 4." Latest news teased of a new Triple Boost Week challenge that will be released towards the end of November.

"The Sims 4" gamers may be faced with a new challenge that will help to increase their game character's skill levels. Dubbed the Triple Boost Week, details of the said event were discovered hidden within the game's latest patch update, according to the fansite Sims VIP.

Released on Oct. 27, the patch added several game enhancements, as well as bug fixes to various "The Sims 4" expansion and stuff packs. It also included a hidden image that teased of the game character Jasmine Holiday's impending return to "The Sims 4."

Avid gamers may recall that Holiday only appears during special events such as the recent Day of the Dead challenge where Simmers were tasked to collect sugar skulls. In the upcoming Triple Boost Week challenge, Sims can earn satisfaction and skill points at a faster rate.

With Holiday's upcoming return to "The Sims 4," gamers can interact with the said non-playable character to get a special boost. Apart from tripling satisfaction rates, the move will also impact a Sim's needs meter.

Sims will be able to do more activities and other tasks without having to worry about visiting the bathroom, eating or sleeping. The upcoming Triple Boost Week will also lower the needs bar for actively played Sim characters.

Members of "The Sims" team have yet to confirm nor deny the said gaming event. However, speculations posted on the said fansite hinted of a potential Thanksgiving release given the appearance of a cooked turkey on the leaked game image.

In other news, the latest "The Sims 4 City Living" expansion pack has added new gameplay features, as well as several quirky characters to the game. Several reports have also highlighted the appearance of a bug where Sims would continuously eat from a festival's various food stalls.

"The Sims 4" city-themed expansion pack titled "City Living" was released on Nov. 1 for PC and MAC. Watch the game's "Festival" trailer below:
