Musicians Moving To Canada: Are Their Bags Packed & Ready To Go? Who Else Wants To Move North? Find Out Here!

Twitter was flooded with "Moving To Canada" even before the 2016 presidential election was over. Many musicians have vowed to move north once their candidate will lose the race.

The expression "moving to Canada" has been tantamount to saying that they are dissatisfied with the results, and is willing to move to other places. Now that the presidential election is over, fans are wondering if their word still holds water.

At least 20 celebrities were in the list who promised to leave the American soil should Donald Trump win the presidential election. Four musicians who allegedly promised moving to Canada were Miley Cyrus, Cher, Jon Stewart and Barbra Streisand.

Miley Cyrus has warned early on that she is moving to Canada should Donald Trump becomes president. She even added that she does not say things that she does not mean. However, when the votes were finally tallied, she posted a video on Twitter saying she accepts Trump as the president of the United States. Her tweet has been retweeted almost 80,000 times, but was also met with a lot of criticism.

Meanwhile, Cher is not only moving to Canada, but she has said she will be moving to Jupiter if Donald Trump will win the presidential election. But, all the singer had to say after the election was that "the world will never be the same." No mention of moving elsewhere ever.

Seasoned singers like Barbara Streisand mentioned moving to Canada or Australia. Jon Stewart might be joining Cher in Jupiter as he wants to get into a rocket and go to another planet.

Other celebrities who said they are moving to Canada should Donald Trump win are voice actor Bryan Cranston, comedians Keegan-Michael Kay, Rosie O'Donnell and Chelsea Handler. Also actors Samuel L. Jackson, Natasha Lyonne and Eddie Griffin.
