iPad Air 3 Release Date, Specs, Features, Price, News & Update: Apple Under Pressure to Launch Top-Notch Device After 2 Year Gap?

The Apple iPad Air 2 was released in October 2014 and since then fans have not been treated to any other iPad Air device. Rumors about the upcoming Apple iPad Air 3 are going strong and many believe that the new device would sport some awesome specs and features. However, on the flip side, a number of tech experts believe that the iPad Air 3 will be the last of its line, as per ValueWalk.

As is expected from Apple, it has not revealed anything on the highly-anticipate iPad Air 3. This is a way to surprise its fans at major events. For now, fans can only rely on rumors to get their daily dose of satisfaction.

According to Tech Times, the iPad Air 3 might sport a 9.7-inch 4K display. It is also expected to host the latest A10 processor from Apple. Rumor has it that the device will be much sleeker than the Apple iPad Air 2. A dual-camera setup has also been anticipated for the device with a primary camera of 8MP and front-facing camera of 2.1MP. Primary camera may have LED Flash feature.

Other features expected in the Apple iPad Air 3 are four speakers, fingerprint scanner, waterproof technology and Touch ID. The 3.5mm headphone jack may not find a place just like the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple needs to make the iPad Air 3 more advanced than the iPad Air 2 as per the demand of its fans. They have been waiting for the device for a long time and Apple needs to seriously impress it fans. There have been talks of a highly-improved display, awesome sharp resolution and a 4GB RAM.

Even if the Apple iPad Air 3 gets the Apple Pencil support, the Pencil may not come for free. As per rumors, the iPad Air 3 may be released in the first quarter of 2017.
