'Dishonored 2' Latest News & Updates: Bethesda Announces How To Solve Game's PC Issues

Continuing the story of Corvo Attano and Empress Emily Kaldwin, "Dishonored 2" has been officially released today, November 11. For players, however, who pre-ordered the second installment of "Dishonored" were granted access to the full game yesterday. Upon experiencing the game in its early access, the hype quickly turned into disappointment due to several issues encountered.

Dismayed fans have taken it into the Steam Community and the product review to express the poor quality performance of "Dishonored 2." One player wrote that the game itself is great but the sad point is the poor PC port.

As per Game Spot, the PC version of "Dishonored 2" is suffering some serious issues that range from unstable framerates to blurry graphics to mouse sensitivity issues. Developer Arkane Studios and Publisher Bethesda Softworks took notice of the issues and started releasing some recommendations to enhance the experience of "Dishonored 2."

In an article released by Bethesda, the studio recommends that "Dishonored 2" players must avoid using Alt+Tab when playing and also avoid having background applications running. As for the video setting, it is highly recommended that "Dishonored 2" players use a lower resolution, not higher that 1440p resolution if one does not have a very high-end GPU.

Furthermore, to solve the unstable framerates, "Dishonored 2" players should keep their V-Sync activated and also if framerate is lower than 30 fps, PC users should adjust the Adaptive Resolution of "Dishonored 2" between minimum and default value.

"Dishonored 2" launched worldwide today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates on any further developments!
