Porn streaming service SugarDVD will be making its way to Microsoft's next-gen Xbox ahead of its world reveal next Tuesday according to reports.
SugarDVD is currently available on the Xbox360 as well as the Playstation 3, Wii U, Ouya, iPad and Android devices among others.
Starting at $7.95 a month, users get unlimited streaming service along with the option of DVD rentals Those who want to try out the service are offered a limited free trial.
"Gamers can now have their cake and eat it too on the on the PS3!," says SugarDVD rep Rebecca Bolen in a statement to The Escapist.
Created in 2002, the Los Angeles based porn provider(Site link is NSFW) is renowned for celebrity endorsements from Flavor Flav, Adam Carolla and Don Magic Juan. SugarDVD currently holds the Adult Video News Award for Best Rental Retail Website.
This comes as consoles like the PS3 turn into entertainment hubs in modern times. Last year, Sony announced that more people stream Netflix content on televisions through the PS3 than any other device. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said the PS3 was a natural fit for the video streaming service.
"PS3 is our largest TV-connected platform in terms of Netflix viewing, and this year, at times, even surpassed the PC in hours of Netflix enjoyment to become our number one platform overall," said Hastings. "We can transparently update our application with new features on a daily basis, and through the free Playstation Network, people around the world can sign up for Netflix directly from their PS3."
Sony's PS3 Netflix app received an updated this week that fixed audio stream and subtitle issues, allowed users to make changes as video content is playing and better PS3 Blu-ray remote compatibility. The "trickplay" component of the app has been improved with the ability to show more image still previews while scanning through content.
