After acting in over 200 movies, the martial arts ace has received the recognition.

"After 56 years in the film industry, making more than 200 films, after so many bones, finally," 62-year-old Jackie Chan held the Oscar and said at the gala dinner. The star-studded dinner was held at a podium at the Ray Dolby Ballroom.

Jackie Chan remembered an incident where he watched an Oscar ceremony with his parents. CBC News stated that film editor Anne V. Coates and documentarian Frederick Wiseman accompanied actor Jackie Chan in receiving an Oscar for lifetime achievement in the industry. In addition, 88-year-old Lynn Stalmaster received an Oscar for best casting director.
