The pair, Theo James and Shailene Woodley have been known for their perfect team up in the "Divergent Series" movies. Now, Theo James is reportedly choosing Ruth Kearney over filming the "Ascendant movie", at the same time, seemingly avoiding his co-star Shailene Woodley.
Shailene has been reported to have caused the delay of Theo and Ruth's wedding. According to reports, Shailene and Theo's closeness have made Ruth uneasy, and had advised Theo to stop filming "Ascendant" from the "Divergent Series" with his leading lady.
According to Chat Sports Net, Theo will not be part of the cast for the Ascendant movie because he is prioritizing his wedding with Ruth Kearney. Insiders have claimed that Theo is distancing himself with "Divergent Series" co-star, Shailene to silence the ongoing rumor that they are secretly dating.

Rumors are rife that Shailene Woodley became furious Theo's rejection's on filming "Ascendant". It is clear that without Theo's character in the movie, the storyline will not maintain the momentum. Sources have claimed that the "Divergent Series" actress would not allow changing the story plot. However, Shailene has yet to comment on this report.

Furthermore, according to the same report by Chat Sports Net, the "Divergent Series" Trilogy will no longer be released as a movie, but will be converted into a TV series. Shailene has openly aired her disapproval as she and the other casts did not sign up for a tv series.
