According to a report from Billboard, "High School Musical 4" production has already started even before "High School Musical 3" hits movie theaters. But, why is it that, until now, there isn't any confirmation for its release date, or any hints that the movie is really coming?
Some rumors claim that the "High School Musical 4" couldn't be made because the main stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens couldn't work together in the same movie. Some also say that Austin Butler, Hudgens boyfriend, is not letting her work with Efron again.
Rumors and speculations about "High School Musical 4" are also spreading online. Rumors say that there will be new generations of students in East High School; so, the lead characters of the previous movie might not be joining anymore.
A new character named Campbell Evans will be there to replace Troy Bolton as the new sports and team captain. Campbell is Sharpay Evan's cousin, but he will play as the leading character in the upcoming "High School Musical 4" movie.
Aside from Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, the stars Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman might also not make it for "High School Musical 4" now that they have all grown up and apart. Efron could not even attend the recent 10th year anniversary that aired on Disney Channel.
Some rumors also say that, if ever Vanessa Hudgens will not reprise her role (which might likely happen) in the "High School Musical 4," she might be replaced by the famous American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
