‘Xbox One Backwards Compatibility’ Update: See New Titles that Arrived on BCs First Year Anniversary Celebration

It's been a year since Microsoft launched the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. For a year now, Xbox One players have enjoyed playing their Xbox 360 games on the current gen console. With big titles coming to the backwards compatibility in the last few months, the recent anniversary celebration gave way to new set of BC games.

During the celebration of the backwards compatible feature over the weekend, Mike Ybarra Head of Platform Engineering for Xbox revealed the top requested games for the BC. Fortunately, they also released the games on Xbox One backwards compatibility list. The titles include "Mass Effect 3" and "Mass Effect 3."

During the weekend, the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature also included "Skate 3;" one of the most requested games alongside the BioShock series for months. November 12 marks the first year anniversary of Microsoft's backwards compatible feature and today, the BC feature has already reached more than 280 titles in its library.

One of the most elemental game that arrived on the BC feature is the "Red Dead Redemption" game. For months, fans have hoped for the game to arrive and finally it came in most surprising and unexpected date.

Now, fans are clamouring for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" to arrive on the feature. The title recently joined the Xbox One backwards compatibility list by mistake and now, fans want it back. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not confirmed its inclusion in their first year anniversary treat.

Currently, the backwards compatibility feature has four Call of Duty titles and fans are looking forward to see Black Ops II in the list.
