The Last of Us Multiplayer Will Be Revealed Soon: To Include Season Pass

Naughty Dog’s upcoming survival horror title The Last of Us will soon get some major information related to the multiplayer mode of the game, the company confirms.

The information, according to a Gaming Everything report, was revealed by Naughty Dog’s community strategist Eric Monacelli. Monacelli stated that the company will soon be discussing the multiplayer phase of The Last of Us “very shortly if everything syncs up,” although it’s a bit difficult to understand what he means by “syncs up.”

However, at this point of time, it could be safe to assume that Naughty Dog is just waiting to prepare everything according to the preset plans, just to make sure that everything works without any issues.

Monacelli also suggested that the multiplayer mode of The Last of Us will be offering a Season Pass for the upcoming downloadable content, while also reassuring the fans that the multiplayer mode is not a last minute addition that might feel like it has been introduced in a hurry.

As of now, Naughty Dog has two teams for the game. While the first team takes care of the single-player aspect of the game, the other makes sure that there’s no issue with the multiplayer side of the game, and Naughty Dog has promised that both parts of the game will match up to the expected high quality standards.

The Last of Us is scheduled for a June 14 release exclusively for the PlayStation 3. However, fans who have purchased God of War: Ascension will be able to play a single-player demo of the game, set to go live on May 31.
