The star's most recent Instagram post offers a glimpse at an old Lagertha as she is set to appear in the fourth season. Winnick appears to be wearing the same makeup effect used on Travis Fimmel when he showed up as the aging Ragnar Lothbrok in the midseason finale.

It's no secret that the real Ragnar Lothbrok died when he was thrown into a pit of snakes by King Aelle of Northumbria.
