Fans of the multiplayer first-person shooter game "Overwatch" should clear their schedules this Friday to Monday, as Blizzard is holding a free play weekend. The action-packed video game from Blizzard Entertainment, which recently released the Sombra update now available, is going to be free for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC players beginning Friday.
Gamespot reports that the free play weekend for Blizzard's "Overwatch" begins at 11 a.m. PT on Friday, November 18, and will last through 4 p.m. of November 21, Monday. Gamers who will participate in the free play weekend will be able to get their hands on new play modes Custom Games, Quick Play, and the Weekly Brawl across all 13 maps, including all 22 heroes.
"Overwatch" fans who will participate in Blizzard's free play weekend will also be able to level up, earn Loot Boxes, unlock items and even save their progress. Just make sure to purchase "Overwatch" as soon as you're done to continue progress on the game. However, all Trophies and Achievements won't be accessible for those who join the free play weekend.
For those who are interested in the "Overwatch" free play weekend for Xbox One, PlayStaion 4, and Windows PC, know that there will be a 12 GB download for the game. You'll also need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to participate on your respective consoles.
Meanwhile, Polygon reports that the Sombra update for "Overwatch" is now available. The latest 1.5 Update is currently live on all three platforms for "Overwatch" and features a new map called "Ecopoint: Antarctica." It also includes a new Arcade mode in which gamers can take part of a rotating game mode, enabling them to win more loot and extra experience.
