‘Minecraft’ Exploration Latest News and Update: Treasure Maps and Llamas Added on Game; Features and Expansion Overview
A free expansion has arrived for "Minecraft" players and fans. This new update adds more challenges for the gamers to better enjoy their gaming experience.
Dubbed "Exploration Update," the expansion adds new elements like quests, enemies, llamas caravans and map traders to "Minecraft." These new additions will help gamers get rare and unique items in the game.
Once the update has been installed on the game, players will welcome a new villager type called the Cartographer. The character will offer players treasure maps for a cheap price. However, these maps will take time to explore and for players to locate treasures.
"These locations won't give up their bounty so easily!" game publisher and developer Mojang said in an announcement. "Some maps may point you to mysterious Ocean Monuments, patrolled by spiny Guardians, others to Woodland Mansions-a new location, inhabited by the Villagers' creepy cousins: the Illagers!"
Illagers and llamas
These Illagers have readied traps for gamers in their area. Successful gamers who will be able to go past these enemies will be rewarded with the Totem of Undying which can help one avoid death.
Aside from this, there will also be llamas added to the game with the new update. They will prove useful especially when moving from one place to another. Another must-have item is the Shulker Box because it will keep your things intact even when it gets knocked down.
Towing llamas along will also make players feel safer in their adventures as these will protect them from enemy monsters through their adventures. The llamas will also target enemies and use spitballs against them.
All these features make the "Minecraft" Exploration update an interesting expansion that gamers should grab. It is free for Mac and Windows 10 users. Do you think this is worth downloading and installing?
