Xbox Project Scorpio Release Date, News & Update: Amazing Specs & Features Details Revealed; Console Better than PlayStation 4 Pro? Launch Details
Xbox Project Scorpio is going to be the best gaming console in the world once it arrives in the market, claims Microsoft. Its closest rival Sony has recently released its new PlayStation 4 Pro, which is considered as an upgraded version of PlayStation 4. The Japanese electronics maker had also claimed that its new gaming system has all the specs and features to support 4K output. However, Microsoft Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg said that its upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio will be the only console that can deliver true 4K gaming.
According to the latest reports, Greenberg said during its Xbox FanFest in Mexico City that Xbox Project Scorpio will bring the best console players have ever seen. "It will bring these really true 4K, really incredible visual games that we've never seen before on the console," the executive explained.
According to Greenberg, the goal of the company is to create a system that would allow PC gamers to spend less than what they have to just to get the perfect graphics technology. Apparently, Xbox Project Scorpio will carry several features that can only be found in advanced PC set up and can deliver the same gaming experience. The difference is players will no longer have to spend much just to get the same output.
According to GameSpot, Microsoft is expected to reveal several key features of Xbox Project Scorpio next year. Since its announcement during the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, the Redmond-based company has yet to provide the official details of the upcoming console.
There are rumors suggesting that the new Xbox Project Scorpio will run on an 8-core CPU with 6TFLOPS of capacity and a 230 GB memory. The powerful specs of the gaming console certainly have all the capabilities to produce 4K output without compromising any visual effect.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Xbox Project Scorpio will support Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility program, which basically means that older game titles can be played on the new console. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio.
