'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' News and Updates: Special Edition 1.2 Update Is Now Available on Xbox One; Includes Bug Fixes

Bethesda Studios confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" 1.2 Update is now available on Xbox One. The update was also launched on PC and PS4 earlier this week.

In its official Twitter account, Bethesda confirmed that the 1.2 update is already available on Xbox One. According to GameSpot, the patch notes listed numerous things which include stability, performance, various issues and fixes for crashing.

For mods, several wide-ranging bug fixes have been released and the browsing experience has been enhanced. Moreover, gamers are now able to transform from a werewolf back to being a human as well as change the load order of mods without worries of crashing the game.

The patch notes shows: general stability and performance improvements, fixed issue related to using alt-tab while playing the game on PC, fixed issue with water flow not rendering properly, fixed crash related to changing from werewolf back to human form, fixed crash related to reloading after changing Load Order of mods and general bug fixing and improvements with browsing Mods.

Basing the patch notes, it seems that it doesn't deal with the reported specific crashes caused by the update 1.1 on all platforms. Nonetheless, Bethesda said that they're trying to find out what could be the cause of crashing although there have been no words from them yet about fixing these specific crashes. "Skyrim Special Edition" also suffered a compressed audio before it got fixed in a previous patch.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Its designers are Bruce Nesmith, Kurt Kuhlmann and Emil Pagliarulo. It is the fifth installment in "The Elder Scrolls" series, following "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion". "Skyrim" was released worldwide in November 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
