This week on "Teen Wolf" season 6, fans and viewers were treated to a emotionally grueling episode with "Memory Lost." The episode found Stiles erased by Ghost Riders right before he confessed his love to Lydia. With a theoretical happy ending for these two, will they ever get past the Ghost Rider's memory wipe-out?
"Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 1 finally saw the Ghost Riders catching up with Stiles. Executive producer Jeff Davis spoke with Hollywoodlife about Stiles' being "displaced," which viewers will get to see come episode 5. He promised that the cooked up a "really cool visual for both the season and the climax of that story."
In addition, Davis mentioned that Stiles and Lydia's relationship is indeed "growing into something more," but what exactly, he cannot explain yet. Fans should rest easy, however, as there's the rest of "Teen Wolf" season 6 to tell the story between Lydia and Stiles now that he's confessed his true feelings for her before getting wiped away by the Ghost Riders.
Now that Stiles gets erased by Ghost Riders and Lydia's memory seems to be wiped free of Stiles, what will happen to them in "Teen Wolf" season 6? The end of "Memory Lost" saw Lydia coming to school just as she would, but feeling like she was supposed to remember something that she couldn't, as per Entertainment Weekly. Could she possibly be resurrecting the memory of Stiles in her mind? Will Lydia remember his confession?
It seems that the answer is yes, because as per Davis, he and the rest of the writers of "Teen Wolf" season 6 felt like it was time for Stiles and Lydia to get together. The Ghost Riders were a curveball, however, so fans will have to wait and see how Stiles will return.
