‘Destiny 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Bungie Issues Warning; Permanent Ban will be Imposed on Cheaters

"Destiny 2" is one of the most anticipated games around. As more and more gamers expressed interest in the game, the rumors, and speculations about it are also growing and spreading fast.

Recently, fans got a wind of an information that Bungie and Activision will finally unveil "Destiny 2" at the PlayStation Experience that will take place on Dec. 3-4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. This rumor started when Bungie posted an update on its website on Nov. 17.

"The week after, we'll be packing our bags for Anaheim, CA. The particulars of our mission are still a mystery. We'll cross that finish line soon," the last part of the note reads.

At any rate, Bungie already confirmed that there will be "Destiny 2" and it had been in the works for some time now. Thus, it is not surprising that fans are expecting the gaming company to make an announcement soon.

Now, prior to the release of "Destiny 2," Bungie wants the game to run smoothly, cleanly and enjoyable for all players, so it is going for a fair gameplay. It is widely known that cheaters in video games are rampant and if not addressed, they become worst and those who play fair are the ones to suffer.

Bungie wants to stop cheaters so it is tightening its rules on "Destiny 2" gameplay. The company made a guideline on its help page so players will be aware that they can be banned or restricted for not playing fair.

Those who will heed the warning and continue to cheat will be permanently banned from playing "Destiny 2." Also, the rules will make cheating more difficult for PS4 and Xbox One users because these consoles have their own security codes that may render cheating tools useless because it will not work.

However, some persistent gamers will do anything to crack down the codes so they can alter it according to their preferences and make cheating in "Destiny 2" possible. One thing is sure, the rules are strict as Bungie will not allow disputes once a gamer was issued a ban notice.

Fans are convinced that "Destiny 2" is arriving very soon. Most probably, they estimated it to be in early 2017 because it has been a long time since Bungie and Activision started working on the "Destiny" sequel. Besides, they reasoned that Bungie hinted on it a few times now.
