‘Pokemon Go’ Gen 2 Release Date, News & Update: Actual Launch Of Next Version Leaks! Legendary Birds, Trading, PvP Battle Arriving Too?

Many “Pokemon Go” players are impatiently waiting on Niantic to roll out the gen 2 version, hyped all the more with speculated features it could bring. Ranging from goodies to spawns, it could come in anytime from now until 2017.

A new leak from Starbucks employee may have just revealed the actual date of the upcoming "Pokemon Go" though the shot memo did come with some typographical errors. It was allegedly an internal memo from corporate that included a marketing campaign tied up to “Pokeman Version 2”.

“Pokemon Go” may have been misspelled but certainly a minor issue. The misspelled “Pokeman” was seen throughout the memo but was eventually taken down, BGR reported.

Moving forward, if December 7 is indeed the day when Niantic rolls out “Pokemon Go” gen 2, an official announcement could be out soon. Unless that happens, it may be best to move on and play and let Niantic surprise you.

Whether the leaked memo was authentic or not is up in the air. But the only thing certain is that Niantic continues to make changes to “Pokemon Go” with the best on perfect as the Holidays draw near.

As mentioned in a previous post, an increase in “Pokemon Go” spawns is expected plus more. Ditto and Tyranitar have been mentioned as possibly appearing plus the new add-ons. That includes Pokemon Trading and the improved gym battles which many want to see.

Right now, the attention has been on the in-game events for “Pokemon Go”, an offshoot of their successful Halloween offering. Thanksgiving events are closely monitored for the coming week though the bigger hauls are expected in December.

Changes to Pokemon Gyms and Nests could also happen, hopefully for the better. Niantic recently added those daily quests and increased spawns though monsters appearing to leave a lot to be desired. Could the rares finally come out before Christmas? Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Pokemon Go" news and update!
