'For Honor' Release Date, Gameplay, News & Update: Outstanding Classes, Competitive Gameplay Mechanics & Details Here!

"For Honor" is looking to take war, combat, and chaotic gameplay to a whole another level. One of the most anticipated and ambitious games of recent date, "For Honor" aims to immerse its players in the middle of a massive battleground where armies are battling each other in every direction. Ubisoft has high hopes for its next possible AAA title, but what exactly does this fantasy warfare game have to offer?

According to The Gamer's Drop, Ubisoft released a new gameplay alpha trailer that showcases the weapons, skills, and gameplay mechanics of "For Honor." The game aims to paint out a battle royal type stage for players to hack away in utter jubilation. Space Elephant and Mister Pope explain in the trailer that this was the longest alpha testing stage for a game in Ubisoft history. The developers wanted to make sure they got every detail down to the last spot with such an ambitious project such as this.

The trailer of "For Honor" features strong language, unexpected humor, and a plethora of epic moments in battle. This components would make even the most war-sturdy veteran awe in amazement.

As reported by Gamespot, "For Honor" features classes that players can choose to take to battle, ranging from the steadfast yet mercurial iron-fisted knights of Europe to the barbarian, crude weapon-wielding, freedom-loving Vikings of the North. Finally there is the wildcard class of the Samurai Shogun from the Eastern lands who, in this fantasy setting, have been banished from their homeland and are looking to establish a new empire.

In other developments, earlier this month, Ubisoft unfortunately announced that the split-screen mode would no longer be a feature in "For Honor." They explained it was a very difficult decision but it was done for the greater good of the overall finished product. This backtracks to what creative director Jason VandenBerghe told Gamespot last year, stating that split-screen is "absolutely a key feature" for the game.

"For Honor" is schedule to release on February 14, 2017. It will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
