‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Starter Guide: Rowlet, Litten & Popplio; Best Starter Pokemon Revealed! Gen 2, Legendary Birds Coming Too? Cheats, Tips

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is already out and it's an exciting new installment of the franchise that brings new Pokemon. Identities of the starter Pokemon have already been revealed several months before the official launch of the game, but players are still debating on which of the three is the best pick.

It's going to be a big decision to make when you need to choose from the three starter Pokemon, Rowlet (Grass), Litten (Fire), and Popplio (Water). Aside from being adorable, each Pokemon offers a unique trait or ability that makes them better than the other. Players need to know these "Pokemon Sun and Moon" starters well so that choosing one would be less difficult. But based on several reports and analysis, it appears that Rowlet is the best pick.

As reported by Now Loading, based on appearance, Rowlet looks very compelling in its final form, Decidueye, compared to the other two "Pokemon Sun and Moon" starters. Rowlet reaches this final form at level 34. But more than that, Rowlet in its basic form, can take on the Trial challenges, all thanks to its impressive starter moves.

But the final forms of these starter Pokemon are not all that - players still need to look at their stats. Recent leaks reveal that Rowlet has the best final stats out of the three starter Pokemon of "Pokemon Sun and Moon." For Decidueye, the HP level is 78; Attack is 107; Defense is 75; Special Attack is 100; Special Defense is 100; a speed of 70. For Popplio's final form, Primarina, the HP level is at 80; Attack and Defense are both at 74; Special Attack is 126 and Special Defense is at 116; and a Speed of 60.

Meanwhile, Litten, who is dubbed as the worst starter Pokemon, evolves into its level 34 form, Incineroar, in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," which has the highest HP and Attack level at 95 and 115, respectively. Its Defense is at 90 but its Special Attack and Defense are low at 80 and 90, respectively. Incineroar's Speed is 60.

None of the three "Pokemon Sun and Moon" starters excel in all stat categories, but it appears that Rowlet is the best one to go. You may prefer Popplio or Litten over Rowlet, but one can't deny that the Grass-Quill Pokemon stands out. Are you for Team Rowlet, Popplio or Litten? Sound off in the comment box below.
