As the year 2017 nears, more and more expectations for the the iPhone 8 are surfacing online. Recently, rumors indicated that the next Apple installment will come in three variants.

Three new models

When it comes out next year, the iPhone 8 is thought to have three models: a 5.8-inch OLED model and two TFT-LCD models. Many are looking forward on how these three reported variants will differ in terms of specifications and features.

Earlier reports also revealed that the upcoming iPhone 8 will have an edge-to-edge display and sensors embedded on the screen. The home button is also thought to be removed or could be made smaller and positioned at the lowermost bottom of what will reportedly be an almost bezel-less device.

Design and other features

For its casing, Apple will reportedly make use of a glass casing with a steel frame support. This type of casing was not introduced in the latest iPhone models since it was last seen in the iPhone 4s which came out five years ago.

It is also anticipated that the iPhone 8 variants will have dual cameras which are equipped with lens almost the same as DSLR cameras. Improving on this camera technology will set Apple aside from other smartphones and will be a welcome addition to many photography enthusiasts who love to take pictures using their phones.

Processor and RAM

When the iPhone 8 comes out next year as fans predict, it could have a more powerful chipset, the A11 processor, and a higher RAM. Apple will surely promise a more useful and faster smartphone in the iPhone 8.

The iPhone 7 did not introduce a lot of shocking features except its dual cameras so many Apple users are expecting the iPhone 8 to be way better in terms of features and specs. What new technology do you think Apple will introduce with its next release?
