343 Industries seeking designers for 'revolutionary multiplayer experiences' to next Halo

It seems like 343 Industries, the developer responsible for the highly popular Halo 4, is not leaving any stones unturned for the next Halo in development. Recently, the company posted a job listing seeking for a new designer for the game.

As far as Halo 5 is concerned, there have been a number of rumors and speculations surrounding the title in the last few months. The speculations ranged from the kind of features we might see in the new Halo and additional characters (if any) to the roles of NPCs in the game.

However, the recent listing looking for designers at least somehow confirms that the game is actually in its developmental stages and, if lucky, we might also get a glimpse of it in a few days at the E3. Maybe Microsoft will have gameplay footage of the game in store for us.

“343 Industries is looking for an experienced designer to design and develop revolutionary new multiplayer experiences on an upcoming Halo title. Responsibilities include driving design and development of multiplayer features, and creating new multiplayer game modes using our internal scripting engine,” the official post states.

“As a member of the competitive multiplayer design team, you will help shape the future of the Halo franchise on both current and future Halo Titles. Candidates should understand how to work effortlessly across the studio with various design teams to make sure 343 Industries aligns to deliver on a quality AAA user experience. This is your chance to join one of the most talented teams in the industry!”

While the company posted that it was indeed working on a new Halo title, there was no mention of anything like Spartan Assault or Halo 5 officially, although we could be sure that the post is related to these titles.

However, the post does point to the fact that 343 Industries is trying to bring the Halo franchise to a new level of multiplayer action, and it will also be interesting to see how the company contributes in the evolution of the Halo series. 343 Industries, of course, has already proved itself with the arrival of Halo 4.

Before the release of Halo 4, a lot of fans and critics were concerned as to how the series will develop with a new developer after Microsoft severed ties with Bungie. However, all those concerns were put to rest once Halo 4 arrived.
