Walking Dead Game Season 2 teaser spotted on Vine

The Walking Dead Game was one of the few successful games based on an established property. Telltale Games' title was well received by critics and sold enough copies to warrant a sequel.

Based on the television show and comic book property, the game saw players take on the role of an escaped convict in a world overrun by zombies. The title saw gamers take control of the former prisoner as he tries to protect a parent-less little girl from the undead and opportunistic humans.

The game used a point-and-click interface that offered players the chance to make choices that played out throughout the episodic series. Telltale Games leveraged its storyline to offer players choices that rarely had right and wrong answers. In a world filled with zombies, no choice in the game was ever simply black and white.

Since the game was released last year, gamers have been clamoring for a sequel. Earlier this year, Telltale Game's founder Dan Connor let it slip that a sequel to the title was set to launch in late 2013. The news excited fans of the series who wanted to see how their actions played out over the course of more games.

Now, Telltale is giving fans a little bit more of a tease for the future of the franchise. Telltale recently released two cryptic Vine videos on their corporate Twitter feed. The videos titled Day 2 and Day 220 show a mysterious character posting two photos on an lost person board.

The Day 2 video shows a photo of a character named Vince being posted. While the Day 220 video shows a photo of a character named Bonnie being posted. The brief clips don't give off any context for the characters. However, the Vines do show a flyer on the lost person board which reads 'evacuate immediately to designated shelters'. With any luck, the videos will be explained in more detail later this month at E3 2013.

Along with The Walking Dead Game, Telltale is also working on an adaptation of the DC Comic Fables. The game will see players take control of Bigby Wolf in a modern day New York filled with characters from fairy tales. Telltale is looking to release the first episode of the game sometime in the third quarter of 2013.
