Bob Chapek made the announcement on the Destination D event, which is a convention for Disney's theme park fans. In the event, Bob Chapek introduced the details of the "Avatar 2" theme park at Disney with the concept artwork and pictures. Examples of this is the main restaurant to be called "Satu'li Canteen", which is inspired by Na'vi art and cultural items.

The "Avatar 2" theme park will have two main attractions namely: "The Flight of Passage" and "Na'vi River Journey." The "Flight of Passage" takes visitors on a dragon-bird like or Banshee ride and enjoy an aerial view of Pandora's stunning world. On the other hand, the "Na'vi River Journey" takes guests on a boat ride through the sacred river surrounded with bioluminescent rainforest.

On the "Na'vi River Journey", guests will encounter the Na'vi Shaman, a figure that shares a deep connection with the life force of Pandora. The Na'vi Shaman is also an animatronic, which people can touch and interact to bring the "Avatar 2" theme park to life.

The "Avatar 2" amusement theme park or "Pandora - The World of Avatar' will be open to the public at Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on the summer of 2017. For more "Avatar 2" news and updates stay tuned to Gamenguide!
