NES Classic Latest News & Update: Nintendo's Console Shamelessly Retailed for $500 at Walmart, Sold Out After 30 Seconds

Blame it on Nintendo for releasing a limited number of NES Classic because this mini console is now hitting the streets at heartbreaking $500 from what should be standard retail rice of $60. It is apparent that Nintendo's console is shamelessly being re-sold at sky-high price.

While Nintendo carried its traditional antic of selling very limited number of consoles and devices in NES Classic, the matter is getting out of hand. Gamers have experienced elation after the tech giant repackaged 30 iconic games in one cute mini console but those 8-bit revamps are now more expensive than PlayStation 4 Pro. Even retailer Walmart took advantage of the limited supply and made a $497 tag on NES Classic, HeyPoorPlayer reported.

Come to think of it, the figures currently holding the would-be buyers from NES Classic is 8-times the original. In fact, gamers can call the escalation "shameless" because Nintendo's console are even displayed at storefronts. Just eleven days after release, all of retailers and online sellers realized the profit potential. Walmart, Amazon, Ebay - you name them and all are singing to the tune of $500.

Still can't believe what is happening to NES Classic? Let us point our cursor at Walmart's page and get ready to be shocked. As if gamers owe the supplier debt of gratitude for them selling the console, the item comes free of shipping fees.

Here is another shocker, NES Classic sold like pancakes even at $500! Yes, you heard it right - there is a mix of happy Benjamin-rich buyers saying that they purchased the item and really satisfied with it. Then there are latter feedbacks saying that they are trying to add NES Classic in their cart but it seems gone after 30 seconds of posting.

What do you think? Are you willing to shell out that $500 to get NES Classic or are you willing to wait it out? Nintendo said that they will release additional units in batches until end of the year anyway.
