It is time to round up everything that the gaming community know about upcoming "Assassin's Creed Empire" now that a holiday without Ubisoft's staple looms. The whole Assassin's franchise has lost its touch over the years since the golden era of Ezio Auditore da Firenze but it remains a bankable title nonetheless.

Yes, it is yet to be seen if "Assassin's Creed Empire" could rise above heartbreaking showing of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate." Much more with the poor record that "Assassin's Creed Unity" inked in franchise timeline. However, Ubisoft managed to upbeat the anticipation for Empire with a bit of layoff and the gamers now crave. So without much ado, here are the details that we know so far.

The whole Assassins brand have already traversed Asia, Europe, America and even Far East but "Assassin's Creed Empire" will present something new - Egypt. The rumors about this new location was backed up by Kotaku who is known to have fair share of accurate Assassins predictions. So come release date, expect pyramids, sun-drenched NPC and the grandeur of Pharaoh's palaces.

Egypt-based "Assassin's Creed Empire" is an ingenious location for Ubisoft's new character. It is going to loosen the grip on historical accuracy and the franchise can expand to anywhere later on. So who is this new character anyway? Unnamed for now but he is a slave in ancient Egypt who trained in the dark trade of assassination, Digital Spy reported. There is an interesting leak that this new hero has an eagle pet that grants him eagle vision too!

No about the release date of "Assassin's Creed Empire," Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said that they are working hard for the title and release date will come when ready. Given the need to break away from flop stigma of "Assassin's Creed Unity," gamers could eye on mid to late 2017.
