Qualcomm Release Date, Latest News & Update: Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 835 For Smartphones In 2017; Quick Charge 4 Allows Faster Charging?

Qualcomm is releasing its Snapdragon 835 mobile processor by the first half of 2017. It is teaming up with Samsung to develop the device chip and claims that it will lead the mobile industry.

Qualcomm Update: Team Up With Samsung To Develop Snapdragon 835

According to Extreme Tech, Qualcomm is claiming that it will lead the mobile industry particularly the 10nm manufacturing technology by 2017. This is through Snapdragon 835, a product of both Qualcomm and Samsung.

On the other hand, Samsung is leading the industry on early 14nm technology. Qualcomm Technologies Incorporated product management senior vice president Keith Kressin has added that they are excited to continue working with Samsung in developing products in the mobile industry.

According to Financial Express, Snapdragon 835 will use the new 10nm process node and will be 1000 times thinner than a hair strand. This less space doesn't mean it will yield lesser performance. It gives more space for additional features. It will allow the device to deliver high-quality performance and power efficiency. It will also allow adding new capabilities to Snapdragon 835 that will improve the user experience.

Qualcomm Latest News: Quick Charge 4 Allows Faster Charging

Qualcomm's senior director of product management Everett Roach has announced that Snapdragon 835 will contain a USB-C compatible version of Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4 technology. It is equipped with Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV) that regulates power from charging cables. It also contains heat management technology and four protection standards that prevent overheating.

Quick Charge 4 allows smartphones with Qualcomm mobile processor to have 5 hours battery life. The Qualcomm processor also helps in regulating battery life so that it can be used for longer time. Quick Charge 4, a super quick charge technology, is also a lot faster than Quick Charge 3.0. Charging the battery with Quick Charge 4 will only take just 5 minutes. It will deliver 20 percent quicker charge time, 30 percent more battery efficiency, and cools the smartphone by 5 degrees.

Qualcomm Latest News: Snapdragon 835 Will Lead Mobile Industry

Qualcomm is releasing its 10nm mobile technology, Snapdragon 835, earlier than its rival. With this, it will give them an early lead in the mobile industry. It is not yet confirmed which companies will use Qualcomm mobile processor chip. Users will have to wait which smartphone will be empowered by Snapdragon 835.
