‘Mass Effect Andromeda’ What You Should Know, Before The Game Launches This Spring In 2017

“Mass Effect” is one of BioWare’s great creations, together with “Star Wars: KOTOR” and “Dragon Age”. Sheppard’s trilogy had successfully, or not so, concluded and what comes after it is a new experience and a new ship – Tempest. What else is there to expect in “Mass Effect: Andromeda”?

What makes Tempest different from Normandy? PC Gamer has the answer to it and it is one which fans would surely like. The Tempest is sleeker, smaller ship, which is centered on exploration, instead of battle, but that is not the most interesting thing about it. What makes the Tempest special is that there will be no loading screens on it.

The moment you set foot on the ship, you will not meet a single loading screen. No more waiting in elevators or standing still to be scanned. Galactic travel is performed by directly looking at the stars, instead of opening a star map, and even planet exploration will not force a loading screen on the player.

Gamespot shares some of the additional goodies which the game has to offer. A holographic interface will be used to upgrade Ryder’s skills. The points invested in character development can be re-distributed between missions, which will help customize the character more suiting for the coming mission.

The décor of Ryder’s quarters will also be customizable, by giving customization options and leaving you trophies and mementos from different missions that you have performed. A garage will also be available, where players will be able to see the Nomad, which is a land vehicle used during exploration.

Signature to BioWare’s games is the romanticizing option. “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will not only offer romance to the players, but it will also be the most in-depth romance system yet developed by the company, Game Informer reports. There will be various degrees of romanticizing and different personalities to your possible partners. The personalities will include sexual orientation, romance preferences and their intentions towards the relationship. Some characters will expect you to be faithful, while others will not care if you share your bed with others.

The release date for “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is not yet confirmed, but it is expected to come in March 2017.
