Funcom debuted on November 22 the latest trailer of its impending open-world survival game, "Conan Exiles." The game is reported to be launched through Early Access for PC on January 31, 2017. Xbox Early Access release will follow shortly by spring of 2017.
"Conan Exiles'" newest trailer depicted its gameplay, which covers combat, building and exploration. The visuals on the trailer are definitely splendid and would probably make it as one of the most promising action game in 2017. This third trailer astounds with summoning and eminent battle between two Hyborian gods.
In its official website, the game is set in the ruthless lands of Conan the Barbarian. The character is an outcast who needs to build, fight, survive, and rule the world. "Conan Exiles" can be played as a single player or as multiplayer with enemies and allies. The game also assures vicious action where enemies can be sacrificed to gods to earn blessings. Players can also have criminals as slaves and protect the player's territory, or turn them into either entertainers or warriors.
Game Director Joel Baylos was quoted by Gamespot saying that the open-world survival genre is ready for Conan's take over. He believes that the world of Conan the barbarian is one which can actually test one's strength and skill. He added that Conan Exiles is not just the usual sandbox rather a world of rich history. The game is filled with ancient civilizations' secrets that are bound to be discovered as the player struggles to build their own.
It will be fascinating to see how "Conan Exiles" appears and executes at Xbox One. Funcom released a videogame early in 2015 titled "Ark: Survival Evolved," which experienced countless ups and downs since its release. Many players point the framerate execution and 720p graphics. Funcom has not yet released a statement as to their position in graphics for "Conan Exiles."
