"Rick and Morty" Season 2 has been such a success that fans of the adult-oriented animated show are no less than excited about the confirmed December air date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. However, it is said that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has been scheduled prematurely as the show will only have 3 episodes on it.

According to reports earlier this year on the Magic city Comic Con, Dan Harmon hinted that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will not be happening until next year around March. It can also be remembered the creator of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 replied on a fan's Tweet as to when will "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will air with "It's our greatest Season and Greatness takes time".

All of these technically summed up to the fact that fans should not wait for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 this year, until Dan Harmon confirmed that a December air date for the show will happen the only problem is "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will only have 3 episodes on it before another hiatus happen as confirmed on a panel interview.

There has been a lot of speculations about the "Rick and Morty" Season 3, including a character being voiced by Vin Diesel and a new theme that would be more female oriented, none of these has been confirmed yet. On the other hand, the most possible story for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 would start will Rick's escape on the intergalactic prison, whether he got helped from the outside and how would he be able to escape the scenario.
