‘The Last of Us 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Game Launch on 2020 or 2021? Delay Has Something Good To Offer?

Naughty Dog has remained silent regarding the development of "The Last of Us 2" but there are lots of talks about the highly-anticipated game sequel. Several rumors suggest that Naughty Dog will finally be focusing on TLOU 2 production after the "Uncharted 4" DLC will be launched next month.

According to a report, Naughty Dog already confirmed that there will be "The Last of Us 2" game arriving soon. The company's Director, Neil Druckmann, stated in the report that the original "The Last of Us" took them almost three years to develop and reports say the game was never meant to have a sequel. But, because of several fans requesting for a sequel, they are making "The Last of Us 2."

Until now, there is still no official announcements made by Naughty Dog regarding their target release date of "The Last of Us 2." But, reports claim that there is a huge possibility that the developer will announce it on year 2017, and the launch might happen on 2020 or 2021.

The concept of "The Last of Us 2" game will follow the original game storyline. And it will also follow the same genre of a survival horror game. Almost every aspect of the "The Last of Us 2" spanning from its visuals to its storyline along with its combat elements, were deemed as outstanding by reviewers and fans.

Some gaming critics also claim that the delayed launch of "The Last of Us 2" has something good to do with the game because it might have impressive and advanced features soon. Fans expect that it will have a Virtual Reality support or it might also be playable through the new gaming platforms of its generation.
