'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Release Date, News & Updates: Game Hiding, Waiting for Big Event? Episodic Launch a Bad Idea?

The "Final Fantasy VII Remake" may still be leaving fans empty-handed for the time being, but there are some factors that may just be held on to for now. This involves the potential release date of the title that many have debated on.

As some may know, it has taken years before this particular anticipated feat has come forth. Compared to the relatively popular "Final Fantasy XV," the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" has revealed very little about itself, especially with the secrecy provided by those from the team.

According to a recent interview with Game Informer, the producer, Yoshinori Kitase, mentioned one concern that many may find unappealing-the release of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" being episodic. Under the defense of the game being too big to deliver all at once, the decision was made final and will eventually be launched in multiple discs, still unknown to this point. It was also revealed that the title will have a variety of narratives throughout the installments.

Previous reports stated that the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will incorporate a new battle system, making it more action-based. This is said to allow a more seamless, flowing series of action for the players, which is also somewhat dreaded by those who were already used to the former. It was said that there will still be elements from the original kept for the remake, though the said system may take a little bit of getting used to.

The launch of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is still uncertain, but its appearance may be inevitable. The title is probably to appearing at the PlayStation Experience event on December 3 and 4. The Monaco Anime Game International Conferences event on February 18, 2017 could also showcase the game, alongside other Square Enix titles. For those excited to have the said game, it is advised to have the patience for "Final Fantasy XV" for now, which is bound to release by the end of the month.
