Rocksteady may have announced that it is done with the "Batman: Arkham" game series, but recently there are talks that there may be a new "Batman: Arkham" game in development. Warner Bros Montreal showed a series of videos discussing about how the studio is expanding the DC Universe in video games and is showing hints of the new Batman game.
The "Batman: Arkham" is a series of action-adventure video games that is based on the DC Comics character Batman that was developed by Rocksteady Studios, and WB Games Montreal. It is published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The main series of the game includes the "Batman: Arkham Asylum", "Batman: Arkham City", "Batman: Arkham Origins" and "Batman: Arkham Knight". These games were received quite strongly with Batman fans and are can be played mostly in iOS, Mac, Windows, PS3, PS4, Android, and Xbox One, and 360.
Now that there is another game that is reportedly in the making, fans are all hyped up now with as the speculations circulated all over the Internet today. The footage came from Warner Bros Montreal - one of the teams who built "Batman: Arkham" series, that shows the new open world game in development, and in the recruitment video that has been removed; the Batman character was prominently featured.
Although the video does not show any "Batman: Arkham" game, if a team of game developers like this is still intact, and depending on the gamers and fans that support Batman, the hope of another solo Batman game is definitely intact. On this note, WCCFTech has confirmed that the game "Suicide Squad" will feature Bruce's son, Damien Wayne.
Even though there are no official announcements yet for these games, it's pretty inevitable that an announcement for "Suicide Squad" will come out soon while Batman fans can keep their fingers crossed for another "Batman: Arkham" game in the future.
