More exclusive titles on the cards for Xbox One, Microsoft confirms

Microsoft has perhaps made one of the most important announcements in the recent times from the company, with the announcement has arriving via a Twitter post. Reportedly, Microsoft Games Studio head Phil Spencer has revealed that the company has more exclusive titles to reveal in the upcoming days, following the official launch of Xbox One.

While Spencer has confirmed that there are lots more to be revealed as exclusives for the company’s upcoming gaming console, it shouldn’t come as that much a surprise for anyone following Microsoft’s build-up over the months up to this point.

Microsoft had already revealed at its Xbox One reveal event that the company will be releasing 15 new exclusives for its next generation console, with as many as eight of them being brand new intellectual properties.

As of now, Crimson Dragon, TitanFall, Forza Motorsport 5, Project Spark, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Halo, Sunset Overdrive and many more have already been revealed at Microsoft’s E3 presentation.

Spencer was asked: “Are you still going to reveal more exclusive games for the Xbox One this year?” He replied: “Yea, we still have exclusives to reveal.”

Now we are not really sure as to what other exclusive titles Microsoft has in its kitty, further down the line, but there is a pretty massive possibility that might get to see titles like the next Banjo-Kazooie and hopefully a new Gears of War title after Judgment, alongside the next highly anticipated Fable.

Additional chances are, however, that Lionhead Studios and Rare could also be set to reveal entirely new IPs for the Xbox One. And while we are not really sure as to when we might get more update on this, but the best bet here could be Microsoft’s next presentation at the upcoming Gamescom that takes place between Aug. 21 and 25.

Apart from the Gamescom, Microsoft has also confirmed about its attendance at the Tokyo Games Show in September, so more exclusives releases are definitely something we will see happening sooner than later.

Microsoft, as reported earlier, hasn’t yet confirmed its Xbox One for a Japanese release, and is expected to make the most out of the Tokyo Games Show by announcing the official arrival of the console at the show, alongside showing off a few new exclusive titles.
