‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Saitama Becomes the Baddie? New Characters, Villains Arrive; More Episodes Coming

Fans of the superhero manga-based anime are up for a treat as "One Punch Man" Season 2 will continue Saitama in action. However, there are multiple rumors suggesting that this time, the powerful bald hero will ultimately become the villain.

Saitama Becomes a Villain?

The show is about to become darker as "One Punch Man" Season 2 may finally see the transformation of Saitama from the beloved hero to being the villain. One of the rumors was based on a leaked preview of the pilot episode of "One Punch Man" Season 2. It reportedly depicts Saitama getting angry at a group of people and seemingly unleashes his power on them.

Another rumor suggests that Saitama's change of disposition would be due to heartbreak. For so long, there have been rumors stating that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be seeing a love triangle involving the protagonist. Sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki are said to be the involved parties.

Characters and Villains

It has also been reported that Garou will be appearing in "One Punch Man" Season 2. He will then be attacking the Hero Association once he arrives on the show, facing Saitama and the others in this encounter.

Other possible characters coming to "One Punch Man" Season 2 would be King, a Class-S hero, and the return of Lord Boros. King is known to be a formidable hero, with even the monsters getting cautious with him. Lord Boros, on the other hand, will seek revenge on Saitama, and will be his biggest battle to date since the first season of "One Punch Man." Other possible antagonists for the future include Amai and Metal Knight.

More Episodes

While "One Punch Man" Season 2 has already been confirmed, the production team admitted that they are still working hard on the show. It has also been revealed that one whole season could take somewhere between nine months and two years to actually come to fruition. Despite this though, "One Punch Man" Season 2 is reported to air 19 episodes this time, topping the first season with 7 more episodes.
