Nintendo Switch Release Date, News & Update: Might Just Revolutionize the Gaming Console Industry [VIDEO]

Nintendo's innovation on Nintendo Switch might just change the whole gaming industry and its overall experience. CEO Paul Raines said that he was able to use the upcoming game console and was impressed with its overall performance. He believes that it can completely revolutionize console gaming. He also believes that it might even be able to expand its target audience as well.

According to GameSpot, Nintendo revealed that the PowerUp Rewards members are aware and actually interest with Nintendo Switch. 25 percent of its members who are aware of its release are actually planning to get one in the future. Nintendo also predicted that its sales could go even higher after its Nintendo Switch news event in January. The game will be revealing its prices, specs and some of its game titles that will be launched together with the console.

Another huge personality in the gaming industry gives the console system a thumbs up. Todd Howard, Skyrim director, later on, revealed that he too was impressed with Nintendo Switch and its hybrid features. Todd Howard also said that he really did love playing the console and even wanted to play more. According to reports, it's the first time for the Skyrim director to support Nintendo.

After Wii U's weak performance on its release, GameStop appears to be quite optimistic about Nintendo's incoming console. The Nintendo Switch will be out in the market in March 2017. There had been rumors that either "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" or "Super Mario Bros." will come out alongside the release of Nintendo Switch.

The release of Nintendo Switch may have a positive effect on Nintendo's overall sale for the second quarter of 2017. As previously reported by GameStop, Nintendo's profit went down year after year because of it decreased game sales.
